2. Description of Services
Garrett Cleaning Services provides cleaning services for homes and businesses in the Opelika, Alabama area, which may include:
- Residential cleaning — recurring home cleaning, deep cleans, and move-in/move-out cleans.
- Commercial cleaning — offices, storefronts, and other commercial spaces, on recurring janitorial programs or as one-time visits.
- Specialty work — post-construction cleanup, make-readies, and similar projects, quoted per job.
The specific scope, schedule, fees, and any special instructions for your engagement are agreed before work begins. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services with reasonable notice.
3. Quotes, Scheduling, and Fees
- Quotes are provided in writing after a walkthrough (for businesses) or a conversation about your home, and are based on the condition and size of the space described.
- Recurring service is billed at the agreed rate and frequency. One-time work is billed per job.
- If the condition of a space differs materially from what was described or seen at quoting, we may adjust the quote with your approval before proceeding.
- Payment is due as agreed for your engagement. We may pause service for unpaid balances after reasonable notice.
- We will give reasonable advance notice of any change to recurring pricing.
4. Access, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
- You are responsible for providing safe, lawful access to the space at the scheduled time (keys, codes, or someone present, as agreed). Keys and access information are handled with strict care.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Repeated same-day cancellations or lockouts may incur a fee or affect scheduling priority.
- Either party may end a recurring engagement with reasonable notice; any work already performed remains billable.
5. Your Responsibilities
- Secure or disclose fragile, high-value, or irreplaceable items before a visit so we can work around them safely.
- Disclose hazards we should know about (broken fixtures, pests, biohazards, aggressive pets).
- Provide accurate information about the space and the work requested.
6. Our Workmanship
We stand behind our work. If something was missed on an agreed scope, tell us within 24 hours of the visit and we will return to make it right at no charge. Feedback is always welcome — our goal is a space you're glad to walk into.
7. Limitations
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or conditions that cleaning cannot correct (permanent stains, damaged finishes, deferred maintenance).
- Some conditions require specialty restoration services beyond cleaning; we will tell you when we believe that is the case.
- We do not provide services requiring licensed trades (plumbing, electrical, pest control) or hazardous-material remediation.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the visit or month of service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Website Use
The website and its content (text, photos, design) belong to Garrett Cleaning Services LLC or its licensors. You may not scrape, copy, or reuse content without permission. The contact form must not be used to send unlawful, deceptive, or abusive messages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Alabama, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
